We are proud to report our sale of this 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400S chassis number 4115 finished in Arancio with Nero interior, and completed by the factory on June 30th, 1969.
Delivered new to Italian concessionaire Autoelite Milan for an Italian VIP client, this Miura was maintained at the Lamborghini factory wearing Milan plates ‘MI.6838’ until at least 1985.
The car was then sold in 1988 to specialist Autolynn Ltd. in Ontario, Canada, where it was purchased by its second owner, Howard De Haven of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Repainted red by this time, Howard decided to restore it back to its original orange livery. Work began on the incredibly well-documented & painstaking restoration as far back as 1990, and wasn't completed until around 2012. A third owner purchased 4115 in August of 2004 during the restoration. Since then the car has lived in a private museum, preserved as restored with barely 50 miles added, and serviced as needed.
Existing with no gaps in its history, this is an unrepeatable example of a matching-numbers fully-restored Miura P400S in an attractive classic color, and as a result we rank it as one of the best P400S we have encountered.
