Chassis 54805 was delivered new to its first owner, Jean Pierre Badin of Meximieux, France on April the 6th 1985.
It was supplied with optional power windows, and air conditioning.
The car comes with original books, pouch, tool kit, and Schedoni luggage embossed with car's chassis number by Schedoni.
December the 10th it was shipped to the USA on S.S. Franconia for Ellen C. Monk and Anthony Monk of Scarsdale, New York.
September 1993, sold to Todd Smathers of Pleasanton, California, he qualified it for California registration and the car is believed to be one of only six 288 GTOs that have a California BAR sticker.
September 10th 2010 sold by Joe Sackey Classics to the current California custodian with 23,357 miles (37,590 km).
2013 Ferrari Classiche Certified.
2022, Major service by Modena Motors in Redwood City, California. Everything was done, belts, valve adjustment, injectors, bell housing etc. Brakes also rebuilt and new tires installed in 2023.
